LaptopMatrix is a laptop comparison site built around one idea: you should be able to compare laptops the same way you'd compare any other spec sheet — on the numbers, not on someone's opinion of them.
Most laptop "best of" sites are built around editorial rankings, star ratings, and verdicts — often shaped by which brands are paying for placement that quarter. LaptopMatrix doesn't do any of that. There are no composite scores, no "Editor's Choice" badges, and no sponsored rankings anywhere on this site. Every laptop is shown with the same verified specs and the same independent benchmark data, laid out the same way, so you can make the comparison yourself.
Every spec on this site is checked by hand against manufacturer listings before it goes live — nothing is auto-generated or guessed. Where we don't have a verified number for something, we show that honestly rather than filling in a plausible-looking placeholder. CPU performance scores ("CPU Mark") and graphics scores ("G3D Mark") come from independent, third-party benchmark databases published by PassMark Software — we don't calculate or adjust either number ourselves.
LaptopMatrix earns a small commission through the Amazon Associates program when you buy a laptop after clicking a "Check Price" link on this site, at no extra cost to you. That revenue is what keeps the site running — but it never influences which laptops appear, how they're ranked, or what's written about them. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
LaptopMatrix is independently built and maintained. Questions, corrections, or a laptop you think we're missing? Get in touch.
